Bradley and Brown Bequeathed a Bitter End for Both

1896 – Salt Lake City – Utah – Arthur Brown, a man approaching 40, was the hero of the Republican Party. He was very prominent in Utah and he was one of the first Utah senators to serve in Washington D.C. He forwarded women’s rights, which earned him a legion of female supporters. Among these supporters was pretty, 23-year-old  married woman and mother of two children, Anne Madison Bradley. (15:59) Her husband was a clerk with a small income and a bit of a drinking problem. Bradley was an ambitious person in her own Arthur_Brownright. In 1900 she served as secretary of the fifth ward Republican Committee and as secretary of the State Republican Committee in 1902.
